LevFearn Celebrant

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between LevFearn Celebrant (“the Celebrant”) and the Client(s) engaging the Celebrant to deliver ceremony services. By booking LevFearn Celebrant, the Client agrees to these Terms. 

Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed once:  

  • The booking form has been completed, and 

  • A non-refundable booking fee/deposit of £[amount] has been paid. 

  • This booking fee secures the ceremony date and time exclusively for the Client. 

  • Until the booking fee is received, LevFearn Celebrant may accept other bookings. 

Fees & Payment

  • A full quotation will be provided at the time of enquiry. 

  • The remainder of the ceremony fee is due [2 weeks] before the ceremony date. 

  • Payments may be made by [bank transfer, card, PayPal, etc.]. 

  • Late payments may result in cancellation at the discretion of LevFearn Celebrant. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by the Client

  • The booking fee is non-refundable. 

  • If cancellation occurs:  

  • More than 1 week before the ceremony: any additional payments (excluding the booking fee) will be refunded. 

  • Within 1 week of the ceremony date: full fees may still be payable due to loss of work and date of exclusivity. 

Cancellation by LevFearn Celebrant

In the unlikely event that LevFearn Celebrant must cancel: 

  • All payments, including the booking fee, will be refunded in full; or

  • A suitable, qualified replacement celebrant may be offered (subject to Client approval). 

Changes to Ceremony Details

  • Minor adjustments to ceremony content can be made up to [5 days] before the ceremony. 

  • Changes to the date, venue, or time may result in additional fees and will depend on availability. 

  • If the Client changes the ceremony date and LevFearn Celebrant is unavailable, this will be treated as a client cancellation. 

Legal Responsibilities

LevFearn Celebrant provides non-legal ceremonial services, including: 

  • Weddings 

  • Vow renewals 

  • Baby naming ceremonies 

  • Celebrations of life 

  • Other bespoke ceremonies 

For weddings: 

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to complete the legal marriage process through the relevant registration office. 

Creative Content, Scripts & Approval

  • LevFearn Celebrant will create a personalised ceremony script based on Client information. 

  • Drafts will be shared for feedback and approval. 

  • If feedback is not provided by the agreed deadline, LevFearn Celebrant may proceed with the current version to ensure timely ceremony preparation. 

Travel & Additional Costs

  • Travel within [15 miles] of [location] is included in the fee. 

  • Additional mileage, parking fees, or transportation costs may apply beyond this radius. 

  • Extra charges may apply for:  

  • Rehearsals 

  • Accommodation (if required) 

  • Early start times or late finishes 

Responsibilities on the Day

The Client is responsible for: 

  • Ensuring the ceremony begins on time. 

  • Briefing all readers, musicians, or participants. 

  • Providing a safe, accessible location for the Celebrant. 

LevFearn Celebrant reserves the right to withdraw services if: 

  • Unsafe conditions exist (e.g., extreme weather at outdoor ceremonies). 

  • The Celebrant experiences abusive or inappropriate behaviour. 

Photography & Media Use

  • With Client permission, LevFearn Celebrant may use non-identifying photos or videos from the ceremony for marketing purposes. 

  • Clients may opt out of this by giving written notice. 

Data Protection

  • All personal information is stored securely and used solely for providing ceremony services. 

  • Client data will not be shared with any third party without consent. 

  • LevFearn Celebrant complies with GDPR regulations. 

Limitation of Liability

LevFearn Celebrant is not responsible for: 

  • Delays or disruptions caused by third parties. 

  • Venue issues or accessibility challenges. 

  • Weather-related disruptions. 

  • Last-minute changes requested by the Client. 

Liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client. 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [England & Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland – choose your region], and any disputes will be handled under these laws. 

Acceptance

By paying the booking fee, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions set out by LevFearn Celebrant.
